Ashley Harding > May 1 - Day 46 - I took this picture in spirit of the Tulip Festival that started that day. Eric was not as impressed with all the flower happiness as I was :P.
Ashley Harding > May 2 - Day 47 - These are some Canadian geese we found on our walk around town. The sitting one had a sore leg it was kinda sad. Even sadder- we didn't have any bread for them :(
Ashley Harding > May 3 - Day 48- More flowers! You can imagine Eric's excitement!
Ashley Harding > May 4 - Day 49 - On the train back. It was a bit better back because we were more prepared. This was a cool capture because the birds took flight just as I started clicking.
Ashley Harding > May 5 - Day 50 - This was the major habit of the trip. I read a lot of Stuart MacLean's "Vinyl Cafe" and even got to read it out loud to somepeople I met on the train. I do like how I have it randomly opened to "Driving Lessons" since we were on the bus at the time. It was very good. :D
Ashley Harding > May 6 - Day 51 - I was trying to take a nice picture of the sunset when my neighbor's dog came up behind me and nearly scared me half to death. I quickly changed gears, got out some treats and made 'Bou' (like "Caribou"- the Newfoundland ferry) jump around- his favorite activity (I've had plenty of muddy footprints on my clean pants to prove it :P). He comes walking with us all the time because I go walking with my dogs Ben and Toby in his backfield.
Ashley Harding > May 7 - Day 52 - So, I came home at 11:58pm after seeing the late show of "Ironman" (it was funny but far from my favorite superhero movie) and realized I didn't have a picture of the day. Quickly I got out my camera and took a random picture of the area above our stove. This is what I got. Goodness, I shall have to be better prepared in the future.
Ashley Harding > May 8 - Day 53 - I was asked to take some pictures for a play that will be put on in Louisbourg this summer for promotional purposes. I asked Nick (the librarian who is featured in one of these earlier shots with his wife) and George (one of my cast mates from an earlier play) if I could use one of their pictures for this exercise. They agreed. I choose this one (a few of the others will be placed in the 'Extra' gallery) because I had a random idea while the lights were coming up to do at least one backlit photo- I think it turned out nice.
Ashley Harding > May 9 - Day 54 - *music* Raindrops keep falling on my plants! They keep falling....doooo-yeahhhhhh* My mother was annoyed at me for this shot because I stopped working for her in her attempt to arrange rocks around the stream in a more esthetically pleasing fashion to take this shot... But when artistry calls I cannot resist.
May 1 - Day 46 - I took this picture in spirit of the Tulip Festival that started that day. Eric was not as impressed with all the flower happiness as I was :P.
